Once we have established these key directional HPT essential behaviours, we start to develop the interpersonal communication skills and behaviours of the leadership team. This includes how they:
- Network with each other
- Inform each other
- Listen to each other
- Influence each other
- Negotiate with each other
- Manage any conflict that arises with each other
These are driven by the values and behaviours that the leadership team role model to the rest of the project.
Once we have strong internal relationships and communication skills we start to develop these same skills with the stakeholders external to the team.
